phone decisions
come on ladies I need your input!
After getting a flat last night in the Heights on my way home I was sitting at the flat fix place and the tire changer guy tapped on my window and scared the crap out of me and I dropped my phone into my keg cup of water! So now its dunzo and I need a replacement...
What would you get? The iphone with all the cool apps minus BBM and insurance or another blackberry with no bells or whistles?

if you have verizon go for the droid. i know that will be my next phone. i am so disappointed with bb - the only redeeming quality is the bbm feature.

bberry is the devil. B can upgrade this month and he keeps talking about giving them another chance and he gets me so irrationally fu cking pissed off I want to run him over with the car.

My husband has the iPhone for Verizon and I had the Driod Pro which looks like a BB. We decided against BB because it's just much slower. We tried to doing simultaneous internet searches in the Verizon store with a Driod and a BB and it was amazing how much faster the Driod was. BB is only faster at getting your work email, since it will replicate that more than a Droid will replicate internet email (though I get my internet email within a couple of minutes on my Droid).
I do love my husband's iPhone. The Droid needs to be charged much more than the iPhone. I could see myself converting over to iPhone in the future. For now, I like my BB-style because it looks professional at work.

I am weak. I went to verizon when I was feeling that pain earlier and was miserable. I just wanted to crawl back into bed but I was lost without a phone so I ran in said replace what I had and $130 later, I left. Theres apparently a rebate for $50 and I could have just waited two days for a refurbished version of the one I dunked. But I am impatient and now that I am feeling better I am totally regretting my decision. They changed the format on my curve, it blows and the guy scared me off with the iphone by telling me that it was $199 + $20 to change before my contract was up and if i didnt like it $35 restocking fee.
Regardless once I get my pep back I will be on the line with verizon customer service and asking how I can get refunded what I spent today and get the iphone.
Thanks for all input the battery life on the droid would annoy me and so is not having bbm but Im ready for the big girl toys
Hope they give u a rebate and you get what you trurly want but for what its worth
my droid battery is fantastic! I charge it every 3 days! LOL
