Maybe I'm jumping the gun on this, but...
Anyone thought about anniversary gifts yet? Traditional gifts for 2 years includes cotton. This completely baffled me and other than tee shirts and polo shirts I don't have s clue of what I could creatively do for a gift. Maybe I'm too early on this since most of us still have 4 months it longer, but I don't even have a clue!

We decided that we're going to hold true to all wedding anniversary traditions except for the milestones (5, 10, 20, 25, etc...). We don't have a lot of money to spare since we're going to be buying a house this summer and we probably be moving in around or a month before our anniversary.
Mary, that sounds so awesome. I might steal that idea for a future anniversary gift.
For this year, I'm buying Jimi a star from the star registry - comes with a nifty certification and a star map. We didn't really celebrate our 1st anniversary since Phoenix was born 6 days before, so we're doing a bit more this year to make up for it.
I did this for Andy for Christmas one year. You get to pick a name and a "born date". So I named it after us and gave the birth date of our first date. I also got a frame for the star map at Kohls. Much cheaper than buying the framed version.
I think this is a great idea.
Sadly, I think the sentiment would be lost on my husband... -_-;;

Agreed. I think it's awesome, however, my husband would probably look at me funny.
Luckily Jimi is really into astronomy, so this is like the perfect gift for him.
And Stees, ya as much as I would love to get him the super ultimate package, I was looking more at their lowest one thats just the star, cert, and map. As you said, I'm pretty sure I can find a nice looking frame for much much less, lol. I like the first date idea; I go back and forth on if I want to do our wedding date or our couple date.
I have two plans as of right now:
1) If we are not able to buy a house as planned this summer I'm going to frame his autographed, cotton, Lance Briggs (Chicago Bears player) jersey.
2) If we are going to be able to buy the house this summer we agreed to buy a new bed and I'll probably go get us some really nice, high thread count sheets.
This sounds so cool. You must take a picture when you're done.
I'll do a shirt too most likely. I like busted tees, but I'll check out Think Geek too.
There is this website called Your Memory Lane, and if it wasn't billions of dollars, I would totally do this for an anniversary present (it would have been better for last year since it's paper). It's a framed picture of a city street and everything has personal meaning to it. You can even have her put your cars out front and street names and stuff from your relationship's history. It's really personalized, but like I said, the cheapest one is like $300. (i sound so vendor-y but i promise i don't know this lady)
OMG, I just wasted the last 20 minutes looking through that site! I wish I had known about them sooner... would have been absolultely perfect for our 1st anniversary! *kicks self*
