I purchased several clothing items on target.com and unforunately none of them worked out. When I made the purchase, target.com was offering 20% off for orders over $75. I did an in-store return, so I printed out the return reciept via target.com and the prices listed on the reciept were full-price. The clerk rang in the items for return at full-price. I mentioned the promo and she said there was nothing she could do, what they rang up in as is what I get back.
This is the second time it's happened. The first I returned a pair of shoes from a BOGO 50% off promo...but this time, by giving me back full-price refunds instead of 80% (which is what I paid with 20% off), I got back an extra $48. It hasn't credited to my account yet, but my return reciept shows the items were returned at full price. With the shoes purchase, my account was credited the fullprice.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Re: I made $ from a return at Target
Nice! I definitely wouldn't complain about an extra $50! You did your part by being honest about it and pointing it out.
That would never happen to me. In fact, knowing my luck, it would be the opposite.

I know, seriously! I posted this on MM board and it's happened to several others too.
But like y'all said; I was honest and upfront about it, so at least I'm not feeling guilty! Pretty excited about the extra $50!

Bahaha! I just got a phone call at work (319 area code Ashlee- weird!!) from customer service at Target.com.
I thought she was going to tell me I owe them $48, but instead she said she was calling to do a survery about my recent contact to CS. Which I didn't make, so she hung out.
