Restaurant Recs near Helium?
So my big 3-0 is in a few weeks and since I can't drink, I want to eat. I am hoping DH will agree to go to Helium that weekend to see Jim Breuer. What are good joints to eat around there? I'd like something a tad nice but not dressed up-fancy. I'm a super picky eater so steakhouses, italian, etc. are usually best.
Re: Restaurant Recs near Helium?
you aren't too far from continental and Smith's is around there which is good... or used to be at least. (I haven't been there in a year or two).
Happy 30th!

Ha, I was totally going to say Tinto or Village Whiskey. They might be too out there for you though. How about Smith and Wollensky at the Rittenhouse or wait..
Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse
If you don't mind a short walk, I'd suggest Butcher and Singer or Barclay Prime.
Ditto
I really like Matyson's and it's only about 2.5 blocks away.

and it was very good. I think its on the same street as Helium.
The last time we went to Helium we ate at Porcini's. It's a little Italian BYOB and it's basically across the street from Helium. We were a rather large group and everyone raved about their food. It's also super convenient to be able to park in the parking garage right by Helium and stay in the same area for dinner and the show.

My first thoughts too! Tinto was seriously probably the most amazing meal I've ever eaten.
