Potentially stupid concert question
I know this is probably very stupid, but we never go out to concerts and such, so please humor me. When a concert is "general admission", but then the ticket has a section and seat #, does that mean you have an assigned seat, or you can really go sit anywhere?
Re: Potentially stupid concert question
i am pretty sure they do that to track ticket sales. the tabernacle is a cool concert venue.
random tidbit - my church used to rent out the tabernacle for church on sunday nights.
The tabernacle used to be a church, so that makes sense. I hear it's got great acoustics, which should be great for this group.

Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
That's what I would think too! But it was just one price for all seats. I believe the show is also sold out, considering I got the tickets 2 weeks after they went on sale and our "assigned seats" are almost the last row in the whole place. But how aggressive can folk hippies be? lol!
Ok, after reading the Tabernacle website more closely, I see this paragraph:
"The Tabernacle is a 2600 capacity, 4 story, 100 year old converted church that has permanent seats in both the first and second balconies (200, 300, and 400 sections respectively for reserved seated shows). The main floor of the original sanctuary which is now the performance space is standing room only unless the show is a reserved seating show. General Admission Tickets allow access to all levels whether seated or standing. During reserve seated shows you must posses a ticket to enter a reserved section on any level. All shows are all ages unless stated otherwise in the upcoming show schedule."
D'oh! I was wondering if you were going to be there. You get to go to Mumford and Sons in June though, so it evens out.
I was just looking at a chart and was thinking that the side balcony seats are probably where we're aiming for.
they might strangle you with a hemp rope, or beat you with a jesus sandal!!

Hippy folks are more aggressive then you would think. Don't stand between them and a band they loved before anyone knew who they were they'll hit you with their toms.
I cannot wait for Mumford!
Call me Kat =^..^=
I'm sure H & I will be getting plenty of eye rolls and snickers from the hipsters and hippies, since we are about as suburban as you can get. I just hope H stays awake. He is totally humoring me in going to this show.
