I saw this list on Yahoo. I think I knew a few adults that have missed out on these small details.

Re: Manners
Great list - the only one I don't follow on a regular basis is the permission one. I find, with work especially, that it's easier to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission.

I kind of chuckled at that one too. But, I figured since the list was intended for kids, it's not a bad one to have on the list.
Good list! Some people *coughBILcough* could really benefit from a little more learning of #23-25.
Poor table manners really irks me. I get that you live "in the country" and quite literally grew up in a (converted) barn, but that's still no excuse for poor table manners. I also don't care if you "know how and use them when it's important", it's ALWAYS important.
/rant.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Oh totally. It's never appropriate to talk with food in your mouth. My ex did that and I was totally mortified every time it happened.

OH MY GOODNESS. This drives me (excuse my intentional ignorance of Manners #13) batshitinsane. Jay eats with his fork in his right hand and switches to cut food, then switches back to eat it. It makes me want to stab him with my fork (in my left hand).
Maybe it's a North American thing because lots of people over here do it, but for my South-African-English-school-where-teachers-smacked-us-on-the-regular disposition cannot. deal. with. it.
