I have a phone interview with a recruiter tomorrow. I turned in two applications, same job two different departments, and the recruiter works directly with these departments. Does anyone have any pointers on these first round questions? This is the first time I've had an interview with a recruiter vs having an initial inside connection with a job.
Re: Recruiter Interview
They are going to ask you broad questions of the job to make sure you are qualified.
i.e. if you have x # of years of exp., degree, specific details regarding the position. Bascially just checking off the minimum qualifications of the job.
If everything checks out, typically, you'll move on to the interview with the hiring manager.
