As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Eye Opener
I don't think I shared this but H and I decided to sell the house we moved out of 1.5 years ago. It's a beautiful two-family but wasn't making any money and we weren't planning to ever move back there. We just closed on it Thursday, so it was a great weekend knowing that stress is no longer ours.
H texted me just a while ago telling me that someone shot up the house and shot out all the windows on one side of the house on the first floor. It was a random act of vandalism/violence but seriously - WTF!?!?!? Thank God no one was injured but I'm now worried for my little friend who is 8 that lives on the 2nd floor. I really hope she slept through it and didn't hear anything. This is the reason we decided to move out of the crap-tastic city in the first place. It's considered a nice neighborhood, but things change so much and you really aren't safe anywhere. Scary and I feel bad for the new owners. Congrats on your new home purchase. Please repair the bullet holes.
