It's official. No need to have an election

The Redskins have lost their home game immediately prior to the election.  The incumbent party will also lose the presidential election.  This pattern has gone on for decades.  (When they win, the incumbent party wins and vice versa.)

I'm very sad for my Redskins.  They were 6-2.  6-3 isn't bad but man, it was a hard game to lose.

Re: It's official. No need to have an election

  • Ahhh, but it is the year of Change!  Maybe the change will be the breaking of this phenomenon. Wink
  • I must admit--I have never seen my H cheer so hard for a team that wasn't the 49ers, lol.

So I asked him why (Already knowing the Redskin/incumbent fact) and he rattled it right off and said, "I saw it on the news this morning."

I so freaking love that when we met, he could give a rat's patootie about current events. But now, I've turned him into a current events/news junkie just like me.

    Makes me so proud, sniff.

6-3 is much better than 1-7. ?Had I not grown up with the?disappointment?I don't think I would be able to stomach my Bengals.

  • The Redskins had a game last night? ?It's football season?!
