First purchase together!
FI and I bought a couch! Well its really sectional. My couch was too big to fit in the moving van and get left in Florida. FI has a couch, but its old and kills my back to sit on.
I didn't necessarily love the idea of a sectional, but it was way more comfortable than the couches we looked at. FI and I picked a nice deep burgundy color for it. I'm a little afraid of the color, but we saw it on another couch and it looked really nice!
It should get here right before I start my new job. It seems ridiculously expensive. I think a lot of things will now that I'm not a poor grad student buying the cheapest stuff I can find.

We have a sectional too and it's nice b/c we have a small living room and it's able to fit many people at a time.
