Any Catholic School Teachers/Counselors?
I have an interview with a Catholic School coming up. I was wondering if anyone could give me any insight into the interview process. I was just wondering what a High School Guidance Counselor Interview would look like as this is my first one! (at a catholic school)
Thanks

Re: Any Catholic School Teachers/Counselors?
I am a teaching in a Catholic school and found the interview process to be less formal than at a public school. I had two interviews, both being group interviews. I was asked a question or two about what my religious beliefs were, mostly relating to whether I felt open to and comfortable with Catholicism. I am not Catholic but said that I was open to all religions and felt well-versed enough in the Bible to get by.
I love working in a Catholic school and I hope that you get the job!! It is a very nurturing environment and I enjoy it very much. Good luck!
Thanks for posting this question, and thanks to Caitlyn for sharing your experience!
I don't have any advice for you, but I also am thinking about the possiblility of teaching in a Catholic school. I've taught elementary in public schools for a few years now, but since moving out of state, I am finding it hard to find a position (as many teachers are now). Good luck!!
