How did it go?? I'm back to real life after my final yesterday and understand you were doing your NCLEX this AM. Hope it went well and can't wait to hear your results! Thinking good thoughts!!
Re: ~*~Daniele~*~
I feel like I'm going to puke, waiting for the results.
The test shut off after 75 questions (usually a good sign) and the questions were almost all really really hard (usually a good sign). My classmates who took the exam in Boston this morning, though, already have some kind of result posted (albeit in a backdoor way) on the Maine Board of Nursing web site and I do not. Which makes me really really nervous. I'm hoping it's just that CT is slower than Boston in uploading/reporting the results.
But I still want to puke.
Is it a good sign because the test moves up and down in level of difficulty as you get questions right/wrong?
I was just a reader for kids last week on a computer based standardized science test that worked like that. If you were getting easy questions you knew you were doing poorly. The test was pronounced "New Whee Ahs" but I am not sure what the letters were or what they stand for and googling newia got me asian porn...
I am sure you did great, eat some saltines and dream of that $5,000 signing bonus.
NWEA's (NorthWest Evaluation Association) they suck.
This! I, too, have been looking for news of your results all day. At least you're not waiting alone!
Thanks!
yeah, they blew.
I could read to the kids, but couldn't help or define. I know that most of the ones my kids got wrong was due to not having a friggin' clue what the words in the question meant - but with a little explaining they could have gotten most of them. I may have tried to put emphasis on key words in the questions while reading...
I also just read your last post in the white stockings post about conservative nursing school
I googled nursing graduation to see if other schools do uniforms currently and found this photo:
1928 Axtell Christian Hospital School of Nursing, Newton, Kansas
christian school in the bible belt
are those BARE LEGS?? for sure not white stockings, nude nylons, if anything
Okay, this totally made my day.
And as for the rest of you ladies: I love you all-- this waiting sucks! And I've never been a patient puppy ever, to begin with.
I spoke to a classmate who passed last week and she said it took 2 days for her results to post. So I'm feeling less like puking and more hopeful.
And um, here in Maine? No signing bonus. Maine sucks like that.
That sucks, I could have sworn that the hospital in Houlton was offering 2,000 to RNs and 5,000 to Rad Techs or the other way around just a few years ago.
But I see like 10 listings for nurses on their site and none mention a signing bonus, so I must have imagined it was in Maine and it was another state.
