moms of boys

i guess this could work for girls too in come cases...

so i think i'm really anal about putting a white onesie on under B's shirts...like if he wears a polo shirt, i make sure he has on a white short-sleeved onesie. like an undershirt. so...he's grown out of the 24 month stuff...do they make onesies that are larger? or do we switch to actual undershirts?

also...am i crazy?

haha.

Re: moms of boys

  • I can only answer the 2nd question.  No, you aren't crazy.

  • You can buy Hanes tagless in the little packages at Target/Walmart in 2T and up. We have camis and toddler t-shirts in Hanes. I had to buy "boys" bc they didn't have "girls" plain white tees. No, you are not crazy.

  • i dont know why this is an obsession of mine. haha! thanks :)

  • I wear layering tanks or tees often so it isn't weird to me at all.
  • im a little sad that there will be no more onesies. :(

  • They are growing up. Crying

  • I'm no help but my boss does this with his daughters too, they always have/had a white onesie under their outfits.

  • i think he's too old for a onesie (sorry). that seems weird to me. i would go for the undershirts. maybe in the dead of summer you could ease up on it, though. it could get hot. but in general i do prefer men to wear undershirts. but i think they do that to avoid soiling (ugh i hate that word) their shirts. a little boy isn't going to have that issue obviously.
Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.
  • I don't do the undershirt thing, mostly because it is too hot down here for layers.  I have seen little white t-shirts sold in sets.  I can't remember where.

On a side note, I stopped putting T in onesies.  He looks like a Chinese gymnast (girl one at that) when he has one on, especially long sleeved onesies.  I do put him in the onesies that have the shorts on the bottom, though.
