Hello!!!

Hey all! I just wanted to check in a say a hi while Brock is napping and my to do list is complete... Finally!

We are all settled into our new house and are loving it here in MN now that the weather is normal. Brock is doing great. He's happy to have his own room again and all of his toys. He walks faster than I can right now and is starting to talk. He has no idea that he is about to be a big brother but I think he will really enjoy having a playmate.

As of yesterday I am 90% effaced and 2cm. I declined having my membranes stripped as we are 99% sure we are done having kids and I would like to experience going into labor on my own this time. Call me crazy but I'm secretly hoping my water brakes while I'm out running errands or something for the "only in the movies" effect. So hopefully things will keep progressing and Brody will be here this weekend. I'll touch base as soon as I can.

I can't wait to go back to work so I might have a little more down time! Being a SAHM is way more involved than I ever dreamed!

Re: Hello!!!

  • HI!!!!!!! I'm so glad you checked in!

I totally understand wanting to go into labor naturally. I am insanely jealous of women who do and really hope I will with one or both of our future children.

I am so glad you guys are getting settled in! I can't believe how fast Brock is growing up- at the speed of light! I'm sure he is going to be a great big brother.

When do you plan to go back to work? Have you started browsing jobs yet, to get an eye on the market? (What kind of work is it that you do? I guess I don't know!)

Clint, May and I are coming up in August to go to a Twins game...you four should meet up with us!

    How is Aaron's job going??

  • So glad you checked in!  I've been wondering if you had baby Brody yet :)  It is Brody right?  I don't blame you for wanting to go natural.  I will want to be the same way :)

  • I'm so happy you checked in. I'm shocked your pregnancy is almost over...it scares the crap out of me because that means mine is almost over as well....woah.

Brock is getting so big and handsome! Love it!

How is Aaron liking his new position? How soon after the baby are you looking to return to work?

    Please keep in touch!
