What are some of the most recent movies you have watched and what did you think?
Obviously I just saw Something Borrowed... I give it a B+
Re: Movie Recs
The last movie I saw in the theater was "Atlas Shrugged". It was with DH and all of his co-workers. I really enjoyed it, but had no idea what the movie was about before I sat in the theater. They had all read the book. It was definitely set up to be a trilogy. The movie literally just ended in what seemed to be the middle... All in all, I thought it was a great movie and will defintely go see the other two.
I give it an A- (I might be pretty lenient with my scoring system)
Serendipity3, South Beach, Miami, FL 2012
I agree with your B+ for Something Borrowed.
I rented How Do You Know (with Reese Witherspoon and Owen Wilson) recently and it was terrible... do not watch it... I give it a D+.

I saw Insidious with DH on Friday night and I give it an A+. I'm pretty sure i've never given a movie that high of a grade. It was that good. So many unexpected things happened that you don't see in the previews and there were no lulls, all action.
I'm seeing Braidesmaids this Friday night and can't wait!
Fast Five...typical Fast and Furious movie. I thought it was ok (B). It would have been better if Paul Walker didnt talk. He is pretty to look at but when he opens his mouth I always feel like he should blow his nose.
Rentals:
Secretariat (sp?) it was good- (A-)
Kings Speech - was good acting but it moved along so slow. (B)
Due Date was funny (A-) in a trying to be the Hangover type of way.
Dispicable Me wasnt as funny as I thought it was going to be and I found it kind of boring too. (C)
127 Hours was ok. Again it was good acting but kind of boring
The Switch was stupid and way to long.
Mommy's little helper
Since others are adding rentals, I'll add mine
Due Date - B+
Date Night - B- for the movie, and A- for the outtakes during the credits. There were some really funny things.
Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part 1 - B-, but I think mostly because I want to see the second one so badly since I read all of the books.
I saw Water for Elephants last weekend and it was really good! I thought they did a good job with sticking to the book.
Also I give Harry Potter part 1 an A - I thought they did a really good job with that one too! DH and I just bought it yesterday and watched it again.
Oops we just rented it....Maybe Ill take it back if it was that bad ;/
The last movie that I saw in the theater was "The Adjustment Bureau". I had high hopes for it, and really, it was pretty good - until the end. Then it sort of flopped. I do love me some Matt Damon though, so it wasn't a complete waste.
I just watched "The Proposal" on TV the other night, and I thought it was funny. Goofy funny, and cheesy at times, but a cute movie for the most part. Again, it helped that Ryan Reynolds and his total hotness was in it!
HP and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. It was pretty good and went quick for me. I made a point to NOT re-read the book. I still was slightly annoyed by a few changes but as usual with HP I can look them over more than with other movies.
ETA A-
Normally I wouldn't even mind if it was kind of bad, just b/c I love Reese Witherspoon, but this was seriously bad!! haha

I agree. It was bad.
Recently we saw Salt (B+)
The Golden Child (haha, can I rate this? it was a corny 80s movie)
I watched most of The Back-Up Plan the other night (B+)
Everything Wedding ♥ Persnickety Plates
Over the weekend I watched:
Cirque du Freak The Vampire's Assistant - B (It has Peeta from the upcoming Hunger Games movie, FYI)
Sorcerer's Apprentice (the Nicolas Cage movie) - B+ surprisingly good, I thought it would suck big time
The Proposal - A- Betty White is hilarious and Ryan Reynolds is so hot!
Transformers 2 - D+ Megan Fox is horrific and the plot has so many holes you could drive Optimus Prime though them.
2 more weeks until The Hangover 2, who else can't wait?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Finally saw Inception -- loved it!
Black Swan -- liked it.
Remember Me -- eh.
Iron Man 2 -- didn't like it as much as the first one. The character (Tony Stark) really got on my nerves this time.
