Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

ALB Book Club
The next book will be "The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake" by Aimee Bender.
The date is TBD and the location will most likely be at Beth's place again since she's on bedrest.
I'm thinking June 20th would be a good date for me but there's also the 6th and the 13th. I cannot make either the 6th or the 13th but the 20th might not be good for others. Which date works best for the rest of the group?

From Bookmarks MagazineSurprisingly, only a couple of critics mentioned that The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake is a derivative of Like Water for Chocolate, though Bender reverses Laura Esquivel's premise."I was so thinking this when Beth mentioned the premise. I am excited as i LOVED Water for Chocolate.

Any of those dates should be fine. I've never heard of this book - will definitely check it out tonight!
