I have a code to get a $50 restaurant certificate from restaurant.com BUT on a lot of the things it says $50 certificate on $100 minimum purchase or $25 certificate for a $40 minimum purchase with gratuity added in before discount. What does this mean?? Anyone have any experience with this?
Re: restaurant.com questions
I bought a Melting Pot certificate off of that site before it closed in Omaha. If I remember right, I paid $8 for a $50 gift certificate, but I had to spend $100 before I could use it.
So, they're really only useful if you are going as a group, or if you can manage to spend $100 as a couple (which was easy at Melting Pot. Ha!).
I have always struggled to use restaurant.com's gift certificates because it's just the two of us and it never includes alcohol. So unless it is for a place that has very pricey food and you can get an appetizer and dessert it's hard to meet the minimum spending amount.
