CRAP. Drop in daycare help? asap....
I've missed the last day and a half from work with a sick kiddo. Thankfully now he's feeling great, but daycare is closed today because her son has a respiratory infection that sent them to the ER last night.
What type of local 'drop in' daycares are available on an hourly basis? I have plenty of vacation/flex time to use but I'm sooo flippin' busy right now that it's not a good time to take off work. Uggghhhh...

MIL came to the rescue so I guess we're set for today... but this is a good reminder that I really need a backup plan. It's rare that this would all happen at once or in a row! Luckily work is amazing and they told me to just take the day off again.... I'm going to leave at noon, I think.

I think the one near VJ is Kids Room Playschool -- their number is (515) 222-1830?. Glad you could find someone to cover ... it's tough when you are swamped at work!

It's either $6.20 or $6.30/hr, I forgot which. You have to buy 20 or 32 hours at a time and then debit from that. Nicholas loves it there.
