WTF Wednesday
WTF is with me not being able to focus on work and only on the major baby-related things like filling out the pre-registration form for the hospital, signing up for childbirth/parenting class, and can't wait to go see the daycares on Monday.
WTF is with everything coming together for the baby so easily? It seems like wedding planning and I'm waiting for the hard part of the planning/preparing.

WTF is up with me not getting a good nights sleep in a week, it makes it hard to run after a 1.5 year old.
WTF why is it only Wednesday? I'm ready for the weekend.

WTF is me all of a sudden having baby jitters. I mean I definitely wanted to be pregnant and I am super excited, but the past few days have been me just constantly freaking out about what all is changing in such a short amount of time.
On the baby note, WTF is up with me hating all boy baby stuff. I am preferring neutrals over actual boy stuff. I told Ben last night after I cried in Babys R Us, that I love my baby but I hate boy stuff. I asked if I could just buy him girl stuff.
WTF is up with my friends not getting back to me about what their boyfriends are wearing to a wedding this weekend. I need to know if my husband is just okay in a shirt and tie or if I have to replace the buttons on the one blazer he owns.

wtf is up with people (mainly my parents!) bothering me! i'm ready to drop a baby at any second, leave me alone! i talked to my dad yesterday around 2, and at 4 my phone is ringing and it's him again..voicemail "hey just me, i'm just on my way home from work. What are you up to? give me a call!" i just talked to you! nothing has changed in 2 hours.
i was having contractions all night, so i just sent a text to my mom "u may want to start looking into travel options...been having contractions since 6pm; time wise all scattered around but they've been pretty strong. i guess the can always stop, but maybe just get a few plans together." She calls me 5 minutes later and says, "so what's going on?" umm...i think the text was pretty self-explanatory. She's in NY so depending on when i actually go into real real labor, she either will be driving with my dad or flying, so i just wanted to give her a heads up to start looking at flight times or whatever. But of course i end up on the phone with her for half an hour and several "ok well i'll give u a call if anything changes..." please leave me alone! i promise i won't just have the baby and not tell anyone! i know everyone is excited, but seriously! you have kids! do you not remember what it's like to be having contractions, playing the waiting game and having people call you 10 million times a day???
WTF is up with a professor here on campus who backed in to one of our HUGE Mobile Units, left a huge dent, and then drove off yesterday afternoon?! Luckily, a campus cop saw the whole thing and stopped him. THEN, his b!tch wife calls me this morning and has the audacity to act like I was the spawn of satin for telling her we had to get it repaired so that if we needed to file with insurance, then we would.
WhyTF are people so dumb?
I didn't like any of the boy bedding and went with a neutral set because of it. Boys do have cute clothes, you just need to work more to find them. I'm still annoyed that I can't find cute rain boots for Xander that aren't $40.

WTF is up with my coworker, I swear she is a certified idiot and is only proving it more by her lack of work after being gone for 3 weeks for training and calling out Monday.

Yeah, I agree. I still don't love boy stuff but I've found it's for the best, 1), I have saved a boat load of money and 2) I've found it's less stressful picking things because the options are limited so it's usually "okay, this works" and that's really been good for me b/c I stress over everything lately, I don't need one more thing to spend time on when buying things. And I mean simple things like sippy cups - there's like 5 options for girls and two for boys - easy pick!
WTF is with me not posting my own WTF but just answering other people's - lol.
WTF is with Jay's boss not letting him miss 4 hours of work on a Saturday morning in July to attend the second half of the child birth/parenting class with me? Now I need to find someone to go with me that day.
