i saw two separate things today, and i am wondering what you think. gross or not? i will include some details to help you decide.
1) whilst shopping at walmart, i saw a woman take shoe insoles out of the package, put them in her shoes, try them on (no socks), and then put them back in the package and back on the hook.
2) whilst eating lunch on the outdoor patio of a local bbq place, a woman and her (i assume) mother changed her baby's poopy diaper in a chair next to our table. the chair was in a corner of the patio. there was no smell, but it was in our full view, and they threw the soiled diaper into the restaurant trashcan afterwards. this is a bbq place where you bus your own table, and thusly, will have dealings with said trashcan when finished with your meal.

Re: gross or not?
Ewwww
Yes, I will say gross to both. #1. Doesn't surprise me but I still think it's yucky. #2. In addition to being gross, I think it's rude and inconsiderate.
#1 is more gross to me, simply because well, a trashcan is nasty no matter what. I always use hand sanitizer after leaving any food place. Although, to me, the chair would seem gross now too...
Feet disgust me, so I say number 1 is grosser, but both are yuck.
#1:
there is/was a hidden camera news report that just came out about people eating groceries and putting the product back without paying. Did anyone see that? I think I would have found a manager, to atleast take the product off the shelf.

I understand that its not always easy to find places to change a diaper, but atleast have consideration for the people that are attempting to enjoy the lunch the paid for. They didnt pay for a show.
#1 is way super disgusting.
#2 would not bother me, but I have a tough stomach and a baby. I would never change my baby's poopy diaper in a restaurant! In a pinch, I might change a pee diaper as quickly as I could, but not a poopy diaper. Simply because I know other people would be incredibly upset to see poop no matter whose, while eating. As far as throwing it away, I'd either wrap it in a bag, or find an outdoor trash can to throw it in.
#1 is gross but I dont buy anything if the package is open or torn.
#2 as a mother of two, i would hope they would have tried to do it discreetly so no one could catch a glipse of poop. but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. i have had to change diapers on a park bench and in the back of my trunk. yes you read that right. i open my trunk..lay the kid in and change away. and even in a changing room because the restrooms were disgusting.
