Re: TTC Wednesday :)
Last week I meet with my OB about my failed Clomid cycle. Unfortunately I am taking this month off from Clomid since I will be in San Francisco this weekend when I would be due to ovulate. So I guess I will pick up next month.
I did ask him what the next step would be if I don't get KU with Clomid. He said he wants me to do 3 Clomid cycles with good timing and if I still don't get pregnant then he will order a SA for my H. The only thing is, our house is over an hour away from my doctors office so my H will have to do his business in the bathroom at the OB/GYN office. I am trying not to focus on the humor of that but my H is not too happy about it. He said he will do it BUT I will owe him big time. Hahaha. I know it's not funny, but c'mon it kind of is.
Then I will be scheduled for a laparoscopy to see if there is any scar tissue left over from my c-section. I guess a HSG can't tell?
I did ask him about seeing a RE and unfortunately where I live there aren't many options. Most people travel to San Antonio which is 3 hours away from my house. There is one RE an hour away from my house but I have read nothing but bad reviews online about him and my OB doesn't much care for him either. Luckily, my OB does IUI's in house if it ever does come to that. But San Antonio still might be something we need to consider.

Any status updates in the world of TTC? This is our first cycle, my chart is in my siggy because I have become a tad bit obsessed. Things are good. I have been having weird things since 1dpo though. Sore bewbies, cramps, just overall feeling crappy. Not sure what to think!
Where are you in your cycle? Currently 5dpo and anxiously waiting to test
Anyone testing soon? Well i have a bunch of the cheapie tests so i may start testing this weekend, not that I expect anything soon.
Any vents/complaints/observations you want to get out? the 2ww sucks! I have no patience whatsoever!
Anything else? If anyone has observations for me, that would be great! Besides that I'm just in waiting!
I wish TN had a "like" option.
Had my first consult with a RE last Thursday. I was so nervous going into the appointment and felt so much calmer coming out of it. First step for us will be a bunch of different tests, and then about a month from now we'll regroup and go over the results and what the next steps are.
Things I've learned, just because you have a LH surge doesn't mean you're ovulating. There's no reason, at this point, to believe that's the case, but I thought there was no way I wasn't ovulating because my cycle is like clockwork.
I'm worried about my travel schedule and how it might impact dr appointments. Next week I need to have blood drawn to check my progresterone levels, and I'm tracking down labs in Philly (that my insurance covers) so I can stay on track with testing. Awhile back I joked that I was going to have to tell my boss I couldn't travel b/c I needed to have sex, but I actually may get to the point I have to tell him I can't travel because of a test or a procedure in the foreseeable future.

I'm sorry the RE options are so bad in your area; I feel truly lucky to have one that has gotten great reviews (and I've felt comfortable at) so close to my house. If it makes your husband feel any better, my husband is freaking out of the SA he needs to do (I need to do it "dry"? How am I supposed to do it dry? That cannot be comfortable
) I'll be doing a HSG after the start of my next cycle, so probably 3 weeks out.
