WFL?

I had a tasty taco salad with lean ground beef, 2% cheddar, salsa, and sour cream. I put some baked lays on it to simulate the shell bowl.

I feel so proud of myself b/c I haven't cooked in week (yes, weeks), and finally mustered the energy to brown the beef before work this morning. In fact, this also qualifies as a IWLAMP.

  • Browning beef before work definitely deserves a medal. Heck, putting meat in a crockpot before work deserves a medal in my book!!

    My lunch is boring, yet typical:

    turkey on Wegmans pretzel roll
    cheezits
    Easter candy (oh yes, I have enough to last until Halloween)
    apple
    carrots
    yogurt

    I have a new rule: no dessert until I've eaten my carrots. It's been rough. The carrots usually hang out in the work fridge all week. Stick out tongue

  • Im having a spinach and romaine salad with cucmbers, red peppers, Irish cheddar cheese, and roast beef with a raspberry vinigrete dressing.  (Made by my H this morning, goodness I love that man!)  Oh and whole grain goldfish crackers...and a nutella cupcake!
  • I just had a handful of sour cream and onion chips... but when I get home there's some leftover shepherds pie from last night I plan on finishing off.
  • My lunch today is a tropical smoothie sandwich (turkey on 9 grain bread) along with a tropi-coloda smoothie. 

    I forgot my lunch today which would have been similar to a taco salad. 

  • I had a med salad and tomato soup from noodles.

  • I had drunken noodles with tofu - I went out for Thai.

  • Tortilla soup and a Fiber One brownie (which is pretty bad btw yet still addresses my chocolate need).

     

  • scrambled egg on a whole wheat english muffin with cream cheese and smoked salmon. some strawberries and a glass of sparkling water.

  • I had my new favorite salad:

    Fresh herb mix

    rotisserie chicken(3oz)

    dried cranberries (20g)

    Humboldt fog (.5 oz)

    with a little olive oil and vinegar - healthy and filling.

    Then I had some of the Quadratini from Trader Joe's - those things are way too addictive.

  • Leftover cheese ravioli with sauteed spinach and onions, cranberry juice, and an apple (I also have a mini Snickers that I am holding onto for a pick-me-up this afternoon).  I managed to resist two food trucks that were outside my building today and eat my packed lunch instead, so IWLAMP too.

  • I had leftover lemony chick pea stir-fry over wild rice. And a little piece of chocolate a co-worker brought back from Spain.
  • Leftover Thai green curry chicken and jasmine rice. And a little cup of mandarin oranges because I'm 5 years old.
