Let's liven things up a bit...

Let's play a game.  :)  Answer the question last posted, then post a new question for the next person to answer.  It can be any sort of question you want, let's just have some fun on this dreary Wednesday.

So I'll start...

If you could be any fictional character, who would you be?

I'm ashamed to admit I haven't done much reading lately, so I'll be lame and say Hermione Grainger so I can be smart and have kick-ass magical powers Smile

Question: If you could have dinner at any restaurant anywhere in the U.S., price no object, where would you go?

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

    Keller's French Laundry.

Question: If you had 6 weeks of vacation and an unlimited budget, where would you travel to?

That is exactly the restaurant I had in mind when I asked the question Smile

Ooo, your question is hard--I think I'd have to say Africa.  Partly because I've been trying to plan a safari vacation for a while now.  It's a really expensive trip even for just a couple of weeks in 1 or 2 countries and intra-continental travel is very pricey too, as well as takes a lot of time.  So six weeks and unlimited moolah would be perfect for that trip.

OK, I promise not to answer all the questions posted, but here's my next one...

Question: What's currently your favorite song?

It has to be Turning Tables by ADELE... i think I have a girl crush, haha.

Question:  What's one funny quirk about yourself that most people don't know.

Question:  What's one funny quirk about yourself that most people don't know.

I cannot leave my house on a daily basis without saying to my cats "bye babies mommy loves you have a good day"....sigh....what can i say, i love my sweet boys!

Question:  What is your idea of a perfect day?

All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.

Question:  What is your idea of a perfect day?

Waking up in bed with DH and DoggieCrushing to fantastic weather.  DH lazily making me a waffle with fresh strawberries.  Heading to the farm with DH, and dog to take a long hike.  Relaxing at home for a bit, and then grabbing dinner alone with DH.

Question:  If you had to be an animal what would you be, and why?

  • I would be my cat. She's got a great, relaxing life, with two people who adore her and take very good care of her. Plus, she's so damn cute!

    Since I'm a music teacher...

Question: If you could learn to play one musical instrument (that you do not currently play) what would it be?

  • Where the heck is everyone today?

    imageGinger Le Coeur:
Question: If you could learn to play one musical instrument (that you do not currently play) what would it be?

Piano.  DH will be inheriting his mom's baby grand and I really want to learn how to play it.  Do you teach piano, Ginger? :)

I've always wished that I were able to take music lessons as a kid (I think I've mentioned that before here).  Maybe it's one of the things I'll learn to do in retirement if my fingers aren't all gnarled and arthritic by then!

You didn't ask a question, Rock! Unless "do you teach piano" counts ;)  Or if your question was "where is everyone today"... I'll answer I'm here now!

  • Um, yeah, sure, my question was, "Where is everyone?" :)

Sorry, totally forgot to ask another question.  Probably because there were so few people playing and I thought it was a fun idea for a post!  OK, I'll ask one more and see if more people bite today.

Question: If you could re-live your college days, would you?

Question: If you could re-live your college days, would you?

Not at my alma mater, no. But somewhere fun? Possibly.

Question: If you won the lottery, who do you think the first person to hit you up for $$ would be?

    My mother, without a doubt.

Question:  If you didn't ever have to sleep, what would you do with all that extra time?

That's a good one!  I'd like to think I'd put more effort into starting my own business--something small that I could do from home.  What I hope I wouldn't do is just watch more TV Smile  More crafting might be OK though, haha!

Question: What's the best present you ever received?

Question: What's the best present you ever received?

Tough one... it's probably the ring my mom gave me on my 21st birthday.  she had a diamond that she had gotten from her great-aunt reset with rubies on either side (my birthstone).  It just has so much family history.

ok, so question:  if you could meet anyone, past or present, who would you choose?

I hope this isn't a total buzz kill, but my father.  He died when I was three, so I think it would be awesome to get to know what he was like.

Question: who do you consider to be the most powerful person/influential person in the world, past or present, and why?

  • Either I really killed the mood or everyone went away.  Yikes! ;)

I was a piano minor in college, but I don't teach private lessons. I have so many other things going on, I just don't have time to devote to private lessons.  I love playing, although, despite the fact that I was a piano minor, I'm not that great of a pianist.
