I work in a county building which is always closed on Election Day. I have never voted this early in the morning, I always have all day. It's already going on 2 hours since I voted, which is a little obscene, IMO. DH works both jobs today, so we had to get down there and done before his bus. He was so paranoid about lines that he insisted we go at the buttcrack of dawn.
At any rate, this gives me all day to work on the last batch of Xmas presents.

Re: Voting accomplished!
Yay, I voted too! See siggy.
Now did you vote in the rep/dem parties or did you vote for your candidates in the small parties? (I know moveon was pressing people to vote for Obama in the working families party, or whatever it's called)
MD, can I steal your siggy too?
Of course! I stole it off a blog, lol.

Thanks for the link!
I feel kinda bad about that....I just voted in the majors. I usually vote Green, but I wanted it to be absolutely clear which party I was voting for in case - I dunno in case of what. I just did not feel comfortable with any deviation whatsoever.
It didn't help when DH tried to tell me I voted for the wrong Congressman.
Heh heh heh....yes ma'am.
We made strawberry lime marmalade in June, dill pickles in August, and now it's time for cranberry salsa.
All I have left to buy is DH's Favre jersey, his Rubik's cube, and toys for the 5 kids in the family. I have less than 1 hour of shopping, and probably 1 day of canning.
