    all time favorite single book? Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

    children's book? These Happy Golden Years (or, the whole Little House on the Prairie series really)

    book series? Harry Potter

    fiction book? apart from the Harry Potter books, probably Water for Elephants

    nonfiction book? Freakonomics

    genre? fiction

    Do you buy books, use the library, or both? about 80% library, 20% buy

    Which do you prefer: hardback, paperback, e-book?whatever from the library and library book sales, paperback from the bookstore... but I'll be buying more e-books now with my Nook

    all time favorite single book?  Don't have one

    children's book? I loved Flower's in the Attic and all the other books that went with it.

    book series? At the moment, The Hunger Games

    fiction book? Not sure.  i love so many

    nonfiction book? Haven't read very many yet.

    genre?  Historical Fiction

    Do you buy books, use the library, or both? Up until this last December I bought all my books.  I started going to the library and have not purchased a book since. 

    Which do you prefer: hardback, paperback, e-book? e-book now. 

    Do you have an e-reader? If so, which one? I have a Kindle wi-fi only

    Self serving question: If you have a Nook, do you know how to lend to friends and can you teach me?  I don't have a Nook but I have boos to share that are in a format that Nook supports.  See my post in the "What are you reading?" post.  I found a way to get books and share them!!

  • all time favorite single book?  An American in the Gulgag, it's out of print but you can find it, it's about an American that gets captured in Russia in the 50s and spends 20 years in the gulgag system, while his family fights to free him.  It's just an AMAZING of the human will and love.

    children's book? Matilhda

    book series? Harry Potter and a close second is Hunger Games

    fiction book? Molak'i

    nonfiction book? None stick out in my head but I do love reading them.

    genre?  Historical Fiction

    fiction book? Water for Elephants, The Time Travelers Wife (less confusing than the movie!), The Guardian

    nonfiction book? I Do, Now What? By Giuliana and Bill Rancic

    genre?  Chick-Lit

    Do you buy books, use the library, or both? I used the library mostly. If I ever bought books it was from Half Price Books.

    children's book? Where the Wild Things Are or Polar Express

    ETA: Oh, like YA books, not picture books...I really enjoyed Little House on the Prairie books and BabySitters Club:)  I also enjoyed Roald Dahl books a lot.

    nonfiction book? Not really into nonfiction, I can't even remember the last time I chose to read one.

    genre? Chick Lit- Jodi Picoult and the like...but I like all sorts of mysteries, legal type books

    nonfiction book? Three Cups of Tea, even if the guy is being outed as a fraud

    genre? non-fiction travel related, but with a story (not a guide book!) or fiction whatever. not really into romance or mysteries.
