has anyone gotten an elective 3d/4d ultrasound
I was wondering if anyone had done one and recommended it. Obviously we wouldn't be doing the 3d/4d for a while, but the one I was looking at (hudson valley ultrasound) also came with a free gender determination. Thus, we'd go sooner than later, and you pay upfront, so I wanted to know if it's worth it. TIA
Re: has anyone gotten an elective 3d/4d ultrasound
I did it at 26 weeks. we already knew she was a girl. I really loved it. We got a bunch of pics and a DVD of the entire session....about 45 mins. i think DD will enjoy watching it when shes older too. I know I would love to see myself in the womb being made!
I went here:

We'd probably do the 3d/4d one at 28 or 29 weeks. They include another shorter free session for gender determination from 15-22 weeks, but you have to pay for both session upfront.
I did it around 15 weeks for gender determination. It was one of the best moments of my pregnancy and I truly recommend it! Like pp said, we have the whole thing taped. It is a priceless item to me and I look back now and then at it on my computer. So amazing!
The place I went to was in NC so that does not help but I am sure there are amazing ones around here. GL!
that's the one we were looking at... I just told my DH to schedule it! We're going to do the gender determination around 17 weeks if possible. We can always confirm it at my anatomy scan around 20 weeks. So exciting!
When I had my First Tri Screen/NT scan done (New City by the library) at 11w4d the tech switched it to 3-D for us. She also gave us an immediate (correct) sex guess when she started up in 2-D. We got a few 2-D and 3-D pics.
I just had my anatomy scan in Warwick at OB's office. 2-D only, but he is still a he
Congrats L on a boy!!
My group has 3D scans, we go Friday for the first one. We had one last time too but not for long and around 20 weeks. This time we will be having them more often due to hand issues with Jack and wanting to monitor as much as possible.
