Ah, jealous! I got free tickets last year, but haven't had luck this year
We were just talking about this the other day. DH gets free tix for all of us, being military, but I doubt we'll be going unless something changes. I'd really love to, especially to the "Hootie" concert, but we just have too much going on.The 3 hours round trip (depending on traffic) plus time there just isn't worth what we could get done here. Too bad, I'm kinda depressed about it.

I always feel so bad for Darius Rucker. I don't think he'll ever escape being called "Hootie" despite creating a new identity for himself & changing genres.
I often think the same thing. I just can't see him as anything else. His voice is just too distinctive.
On a funny note, a friend of mine was at one of his concerts and when he sang, "Family Tradition," some redneck nearby asked "Should a black guy even sing that song?" Apparently he's breaking down barriers in the good ol' boy communities of our country, lol!
