I was looking at this decal in dark brown and DH stated that it was far too creepy for a nursery. Like at nighttime it has a "Nightmare on Elm Street/Hills Have Eyes" creepiness to it.
The board agreed that maybe without the swing it would be okay but mostly it was creepy, especially in brown(i think).

I decided to put it off until the shower. I did however find a wooden plaque thing with a poem on it about little girls my father bought for me when I was a baby but it has a stain on it and I can't decide if I should use it. So I guess I have that as far as decor goes. LOL
you have time. i was just making sure i wasn't missing out on anything.
the poem thing is too darn cute. you have to use it. unless it's super super ugly then we can discuss.
Nope not missing anything, I general I don't do very well about sharing house pics lately but I for sure will PIP that when it actually looks like a nursery. It's a small room though so it sort of sucks.
babies are small so i think it will be okay. ;-)
Haha that is hilarious. I don't think it's creepy in white but I would like it better without the swing. Probably pretty creepy in brown though. You better post pics when it is ready!!!

LOL I think some of the girls didn't think it was creepy at all until I elaborated then they ageed.
Oh and Liz said it reminded her or Hiroshima.
Why did you bust out the creepy swing child again?
I love the tree idea, just leave that little girl out of it. And I get your game...you are holding off on the room, so that you are too big and uncomfortable, so DH will have to do the whole room! SMART!
(I'm not ashamed to admit, I did that too! I did the shopping, but the actual work was too much for my fatass to take on!)

I thought it was cute. My DH make the Hiroshima comment. then I got creeped out. I still like the idea of just the tree.
