First I want to say I'm all about oral hygiene.
However, do you think it is weird for someone to brush and floss their teeth in a multi-stall bathroom (5-6 stalls)? And I'm not talking about a one time thing, but a daily after lunch.
*this is brought on by me being in the bathroom at least once a week with a daily brusher.

Re: Poll: Is this weird?
I personally don't brush my teeth often at work but I do have a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss in my desk. Usually when I do it is in a bathroom with 2 stalls and 1 sink. I have seen people that brush daily after lunch at work and didn't think about it other than that I should probably be doing that as well.
I think I need more pactice making polls... I did something wrong to get text to duplicate. I did have trouble posting from the poll screen and had to go back to the regular screen to post. Very odd though.

I don't think its weird but I don't like it. I get grossed out being around other people while they are brushing their teeth and I don't like people around me while I'm brushing mine. I know I'm weird (Nick tells me).
My co-worker brushes a couple times a day but I've never actually witnessed it just smelled it and seen toothpaste in the sink (disgusting and inconsiderate). I think that's weird.
Ok that is gross. But I don't really mind people brushing their teeth in multi stall bathroom probably because of my dorm room experience. I guess I'm just used to it. Me though, I don't brush my teeth after every meal even if I probably should...
I said special snowflake because I work in a department on campus where the Dental Hygiene department and clinic is housed (on my floor) and I work directly with a Dentist and a Dental Hygienist. I see multiple people doing it daily. The part I don't like is when they brush their teeth, leave the paste and brush on the counter and then go to the bathroom. I think that is G to the ROSS.
Also, paste in the sink is super gross too.
We have several women on my floor (and even some men) who do this.
I honestly think for the men it's weirder, because of the whole "urinal out in the open" part of it, but maybe that's offset by the fact that boys have cooties anyway, and they're used to gross things.
That's right. I'm a grown up.
I voted SS only because I recently got braces and your suppose to brush after each meal so I brush my teeth in the ladies room after lunch because I don't have anywhere else at work to brush them. Before I had braces I would only brush morning and night.
I voted SS. I brush my teeth after lunch at work, but I also basically have a private bathroom (I'm the only woman in the office currently). I make sure I clean up after myself incase we have women visitors who need to use the bathroom.
Leaving tooth paste in the sink is nasty!

That is the best thing I have heard all day!
And yes, people leaving toothpaste and toothpaste spit in the sink is gross. Where I worked before and people regularly brushed their teeth no-one left anything behind when they were done.
I voted that it's weird. However, maybe if more than just the one woman did it I wouldn't think it was weird. I've honestly never encountered this in a work environment before that is why I posed the question.
Honestly I think I would feel weirder being the toothbrusher listening to other people go to the bathroom while I was brushing my teeth. It is rare to find that bathroom empty during the day(there are some that are less used than others, I would probably seek out one of those). So really I just think that the toothbrusher is judging me while I pee.
Aleesh you made a good point about dorm life. I only had a community bathroom one year and it was a rather empty floor when I was an RA to upperclassmen who were barely ever home. So I rarely encountered this situation. Also there was much more segregation of the toilets and the sink/shower area then.
