What's Up Wednesday?!!
I actually made it into the office today after a few days of being out with a cold. I consider that WINNING! Although, since getting in physically wore me out, I think I should be able to call myself successful for the day and go back home.
I'm still down a few pounds despite the fact that this is a carb-craving cold. Another win.
Beyond that, I have been an entirely boring mess of couch-bound human. Oh, and I did finish the Book Club book for the month.
Heading into the rest of the week: If I get anything done, I'm calling it a win. Though I would like to get the lawn mowed and put together a good meal plan for next week.

Happy Wednesday all! My to-do list just keeps growing and growing and growing. I hope I can finish some stuff today.
Weird Weather Report: DD has a daily calendar where she changes the date, day of the week, weather, etc. This morning she put "Wednesday, the 11th of May 2011. The weather is Sunny and it is Spring." By the time she got on the bus, I got into my car and pulled out of the garage, it was DARK. Like "a monsoon's a'comin" dark. How strange.
Anywho, tonight I hope to make it home and get some housework done. If we don't have plans after work, I've been working late hours recently and my house has been suffering.

ARGH! My job is pissing me off today! PPL telling on others and then lying to the boss abt what was said! R WE 5? Apparently so!
YAY for sun! but its suppose to rain later and most of the week. boo!
I'm frustrated w/ this company my dr's office uses for the Mirena. Here I am on week #2 trying to get this done. Every time I think I'm home free, I get another frustrating phone call. If I had known it was going to be this much of a hassle, I would started this process months ago. I was scheduled to go in yest to have it done and if it didn't show up, my dr's office was supposed to call me by 3pm so I would know whether or not I had to leave early. Just as I'm starting to pack up at 3:45pm I get the call that its not in. Grr! So now I'm rescheduled for Thurs, but you better believe I'm calling today to make sure its there! I just want to get this over with so its one less thing.
My boss decided to tell me right at the end of the day yest that he wanted me in the company meeting this morning. They are so boring and pointless. He told me I could leave it early, so I did. I seriously sat there for a 1/2 hour repeating "this is soooo boring" to myself.
We had someone come out yest to re-caulk our entire bathtub and parts of the shower walls. We can't use the shower until Friday morning. Thankfully we have a 2nd full bath, it just doesn't have a shower, tub only. I do not enjoy baths where I can't sit there and relax. hehe
Going to try and make it a good day! Its humid so by lunch I will be begging the boss to turn the air on. Yest for the last 3 hours of the day I was covered in sweat from being so warm (we're on the 2nd floor) and I don't want to do that another day.

I'm in a post-vacation funk - at least I hope that's all it is!! I just feel like I don't have a lot of energy or patience. Or maybe it's just that I'm going through one of those chunks of time where I feel like I'm giving giving giving and at everyone and everything else's mercy without getting a break myself. I hoped vacation would clear that up, but apparently it just gave me a few days off from feeling that way!! Usually, good things end up coming my way again and then I feel better.
I have to take my car back to the shop because it's acting up AGAIN. Cross your fingers that it's nothing big - I really really can't deal with my car falling apart on top of everything else!
My workload isn't looking too bad today, circuit training class kicked my butt in a (mostly) good way, and then the week will be over half done. So it ain't all bad.
I walked a mile during the girls gym class in a skirt and wedges!
I also have been running errands after work and read a good book.
My Wednesday has been great! I am off of work today!! YAY!!
I got my haircut today! Another thing that I have been procrastinating doing.
Other then that I have done a lot of nothing today. It was nice to be out in the sun for most of the after now the humidity has started to get to me so I am hanging inside where it is evening warmer. At least it is not cold and rainy. I will take being hot over that any day.
