I question MH's ability to protect me...
Last night we pull into our garage and I get out, B is still lingering in the drivers seat but with his door open, we have the garage door open and we hear someone screaming RACHEL GET BACK HERE like 2x and kinda nasty. So I'm like uhmmm awesome more fun from our fabulous neighbors and I notice B closes his driver door again and asks me is anyone out there. WTF so I said I'm a little creeped out only because of what happened with our neighbors so please either get the fu ck out of the car or close the garage door don't get back in the car and ask me if there is anyone out there. dbag. He continues to tell me well he only thought it was someone in a passing car anyways. At that point if it was someone yielding a weapon I would have told them I was in full support of them using it on him.

i feel your pain.
we had a broken basement window and a little woodchuck thing came in... my dh called me to come home to capture him. and i had to walk to box down the road.
so i just made sure to tell his parents and brother and my dad so he would get a little made fun of for it.
OH yes... do not get me started on animals or rodents or bugs... he can NOT deal with them.
When we were in Florida we were in a rented house and we were in the pool and I could see on the couch in the sunroom a gecko... but this thing was I swear to god almost lizard size, it was HUMONGOUS. Well I usually have no problems flinging the little suckers but this thing had talons! I had to get it out while B jumped outta the pool grabbed his sandals to throw at the thing if it tried to get near him and ran into the bedroom until I could assure him it was gone.
He's also always concerned about how if our 14 yr old cat passes away in the house how he won't be able to dispose of it. At his parents pool if we use it when MIL is not around I have to check the skimmers for dead frogs and etc...
I could go on but I guess I will safe some of his manhood.
Bwahahahaa.Char, I was just envisioning the lizard fiasco, lol.
C always makes ME answer the door. WHY?! Get the eff off the couch and YOU get it, you're the damn man. ROAR. That annoys the living crap outta me.

My BFF is so scared of frogs too. she lived in FLA and one night her dog brought a frog into her house. she called me screaming, she said she was on the kitchen table and didn't know what to do. ummm i am in NY thousands of miles away! why are you calling me?
and my dh is scared of snakes. if he sees one he takes off running and screaming for his life. if you ever seen a picture of him you would never know.
its a good thing our guys have us to save the day

We live in the back of a house like apartment building, and one night the light was on, and we always have it shut and I thought someone was back there, DH walked there first with his hand o his gun LOL

ditto, but I'm horrible... I've shoved a friend at a bat flying low and ran away... I've also pushed my DH at a barracuda and swam away... oh and on our honeymoon, I made him get in the water and flail around to check for sharks... it's not good to be near me when I'm in danger; I'm totally all about my survival.
we occasionally get frogs in our toilets at my parent's vacation home in Florida, so we've started putting saran wrap on them. Before we started that practice, my bff, Danielle, went to go to the bathroom when she and my brother were on vacation. She thought one of those air freshner things were in the toilet (she wasn't wearing her glasses). To make sure, she put her face very close to it and realized it was a frog. Then it jumped out and she freaked. She locked my brother in there and wouldn't let him out until he caught it lol
