Fashion Trends You Hate

Bring 'em.

I think Toms shoes are fugly. I think the mission behind the company is great, but they're fugly. & for the price? I could buy a cute pair of shoes & donate a pair of shoes for less.

    Really? REALLY?!?!?

Shut your whore mouth. Jeggings are the greatest invention EVER.

Seriously, I scoffed at them like crazy & then I tried them on. LOVE.

  • Crocs are still fugly.

Rompers - Only 5 y/os look cute in them.

Like this? On the right person I think they're cute. I could never pull it off though and I think a lot of people that do wear them definitely shouldn't.

She's built like a 5 y/o, so it works on her.

Haha. True. I get what you're saying now. Plus, I think this romper is much cuter than most of them out there.

  • I'm really not liking the bootie trend right now.

  • I hate the giant leather black strappy sandals. They look so clunky and not pretty at all. Pretty stripperish.

For kids, I hate the knit animal hats (why do you want your baby dressed like a teddy bear??) and the massive, thick bows and flowers on little girls.

Rompers I agree with and I agree Crocs are fugly but I own 2 pairs (slip-ons and FSU croc flops) because they are just so damn comfy.  Plus, they seem to be all I can wear now that I have fat flinstone feet from being PG.

I think the animal hats with ears are adorable (usually), but I definitely agree with the giant bows/headbands. Especially on newborns, some of the flowers are bigger than their sweet little face!!

Also, these pants. Goodness I hope this is not a "trend", they look ridiculous.

Well, I'm sure they look great on you, but for the rest of the population, probably not.

I've never understood rompers, mainly from the viewpoint of peeing. Who wants to strip naked every time you have to use the bathroom?

I totally bought a pair 3 weeks before I found out I'm pregnant.  $120 pair of shoes to probably never be worn.  I'm sure by the time I'd be comfortable in them again, they'll be out of style.  I got them at Bebe on vacation, and there are none near me.

  • Not a trend per se, but this lovely number worn by Det. Beckett on Castle this week earned some serious side-eye from yours truly:

I'm totally going to be this mom. I can already tell. I'm counting down the days until Christmas Made in the South so that I can buy gigantic monogrammed bows. It's a curse.
