Re: How was your weekend?

  • Friday we went out to dinner with my parents (Texas Roadhouse, YUM!) then hung out with friends at our place.

Saturday I prepped a bunch of care packages for Graham's, ran a bunch of errands and then hung out at home for the evening.

Sunday I got up and cooked brunch to take over to my mom for mother's day.  Spent some time there, then came home and went to a late lunch with my godchildren because it was their 7th birthday yesterday!  Came home and did a bunch of yardwork, then had dinner with the ILs for mother's day.  We had reservations at Ruby Tuesday, but when we got there we were told someone was sitting at "our" table and they weren't sure how long it may take.  So then they offered us 2 back-to-back booths, which we reluctantly agreed to, but then we waited another 10 minutes with nothing, so we told them forget it and left.  We ended up grilling out at the ILs and it was perfect. :)

  • Minus the horrible letter I recieved and being worried about Bub, it was great!

Friday I got to spend time with my Grandma: ) then Joe and I took the kids to Red Robin for dinner and did some exchanges at the mall.

Sat Add tried out for cheerleading and made the team, along with Kels Addison : ) Yay!!! Can't wait to see them cheer with their cute uniforms!

Sun Joe and Add made me muffins for breakfast and gave me my gifts and cards. Then we had church and then went to the zoo with my mom. Had a great time at the zoo and enjoyed the great weather. After that we had our small group (why they didn't cancel for mothers day I'll never understand), and then we got home and Joe grilled New York Strip Steaks on the grill and had baked potato and salads, yum yum yum. Then we just relaxed the rest of the night. Perfect day!

  • friday we had mom's day with my family.... grilled out at my sister's and then j and i went to see "thor" in 3d (great movie!!)

sat - tried to get more stuff situated at our new place and had to work 5-close that night

sun - went to my nephew's double header (got burnt.... i look like rudolph =)~ ), came home and got ready for my volunteer shift at the stranahan for planned pethood.

  • It was good aside from the frequent wakings due to teething.

Friday night I took my mom out for dinner.

Saturday I worked a bit in the morning then went shopping and to lunch with a friend then she dropped me off at Cheddars where DH was having dinner with his family. After that we came home and watched Black Swan.

Yesterday we went to a bday party at the park for my friends son then came home and watched the Reds game while Ella took a nap. When she got up we went outside and Zoey got a haircut. Later in the evening we ate dinner then watched Invincible.

Ellas teeth seem to be pretty much through and she slept a lot better last night... and today is constantly trying to chew on me.

  • Friday: playoff hockey

Saturday: lunch and shopping with my mom. My mom got me a bead for my pandora.

Sunday: Sidecut with the B's, lunch, naps, visit with MIL. The B's took me to Outback for dinner. Got perfume, a picture frame for a family photo and a framed picture thingy that spells family with pictures of things that look like letters. Went to the Cemetary to visit my gma and back home to play driveway hockey and slide 100 times.

  • Friday: Took Jake to an allergist and spent some time with my parents who came up to watch the kids while we were gone at a wedding.

Saturday: Drove down to C-bus for our friends' wedding. Had a good time, drank way to much

Sunday: Drove back from C-bus, spent most of the day hungover. We grilled out for dinner then DH & I watched "The Other Guys" after the kids went to bed, it was pretty good!

  • Saturday was pretty good. DH and I went shopping all day and watched a movie at home. Sunday was the worst. At about 10, we found out that some idiot in the UK had our bank account number. Long story short, it was stressful at home.

  • Friday- At school, then at the studio for usual group class.

Saturday- Down in Wellington in the morning, my great uncle passed last week and his burial was that morning.  A bunch of us got together afterwards at my Booma's house, which is always a great time....my dad's side of the family is absolutely hysterical.  Then Matt had to leave for work, so I went with my dad, sis, and stepmom to walk around at a downtown festival before heading to their house for a little bit.

Sunday- This was the first Mother's Day in my whole life (at least that I can remember) where I wasn't with my mom at least part of the day.  She was down in NC for the week.  Matt had to work, so we hung out a little bit and headed to his parents' house at night.
