I wanted to update you on May- she is sick, again (still? IDK, it all seems to run together). She's had a fever between 100-102 for the last 24 hours at least and has been holding her right ear so I'm taking her to her regular dr today.
I told DH today that if it's her ears, I'm taking her to see the ENT. I'll tell her dr today too that I'm taking her to a specialist. I checked with my insurance and it's only at $25 copay for the consult and they will cover the surgery as long as it's considered medically necessary.
Now I just have to wait until the place opens to call... I wish businesses were open early mornings; that's when I'm most productive!

Re: Maurika
:: butting in::
I hate, hate, HATE ear infections. Luckily, Amelia doesn't spike a fever when she has one, but you can tell by just looking at her that she is absolutely miserable. Of course, the constant fussing and/or crying is also a dead giveaway. One more and I'll be taking her to the ENT as well. My neice had tubes put in just before Christmas and hasn't had a problem since.
Good luck today!
Amelia is going to be a big sister!
Butting in too. I just got back from taking Will to the doctor for running a fever. He's also been tugging on his ear. I thought that maybe his ear infection didn't clear up. However, his ears are fine. Dr. thinks it may be teething.
Hope May is feeling better soon.
