I have written on here recently about a guy who comes into the community center I work.....I also wrote another post about my coworker who flat out makes S up and lies to me and others about numerous things (what people ACTUALLY said, etc.)
I have another coworker who calls us "all retarded" and my boss is friends with her, so nothing gets done about it. I get emails from coworkers who are the SAME title as me TELLING me to do their work for them. Not asking, telling. To top it all off, we are super busy at night as out camp is coming up and we just started youth basketball practices and games.
I will never go to my boss again because she cannot be trusted. She texts me when I am home asking me about things that she could very well ask me at work. My other coworker texts our boss and tattles on us (tells my boss that one coworker is taking to long counting the cash drawer). Then my boss calls to see "how we are doing". A couple guys got into an arguement and she texts my boss to tell her that our Basketball Supervisor is not handling the issue (she was!).
I do not think she should be texting me at home (she texts other coworkers too).
WWYD?
Re: Boss texts me when I am not at work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next time at work ask her about adding those minutes of calls/texts to your time sheet! If she asks why you never responded, tell her you weren't "on the clock" and couldn't get paid for work issues at home. It is illegal to not pay you for working (if hourly, which I assumed).
With this post, and the last, it's time for a new PT job. The place is too crazy for you.
This. And don't respond to the texts.

I guess it depends on how important your job is to you, or if the texts outside of work interfere with your personal life. I have a boss that keeps me after hours (unexpectedly) just because he doesn't manage his time well. He's also recently started calling me at home (10:15 one night last week!) to discuss work-related things or to plan the next day.
While it irritates me & I wish there were "boundaries" I take it in stride because I reallllly want a promition. That being said, if it interfered with my personal life in any way I would ignore the phone calls/texts and follow-up the next day at the office.
NO and NO.
