Let's talk fashion

Re: Let's talk fashion

  • I would like it more without the train.

  • I don't like it at all.

We think it makes Chymes laugh, and not in a good-laugh kind of way.

  • I don't like the sleeve part, but the rest is lovely.
  • The color looks amazing on her. I am bothered by the concentration of lace over her lady parts. And the cape-ish thing. Otherwise - I kinda like it.

I agree that the cape/train thing is a bit much, but I like it.  It's totally "red carpet".  She pulls it off very well.

  • I would not stand next to her.  Mostly because I'd be the one to step on, and ruin that train.  I like the idea of this dress, but I don't actually like this particular dress.

  • It's a no for me.  I appreciate the creativity and love the color and the texture but it has a cuople things I hate which is:

    sheer skirt/train

fake, nude material to give the illusion of skin

Now I want to know who the designer is.  My first guess is Valentino.  Maybe Marchesa.

  • I don't think I've ever liked a dress that shows that much cleavage (real or not).  I guess I'm kind of modest, but I also hate the sheer train.  The rest of it is very pretty.

You're good! She is wearing Marchesa.

     Ding ding ding!  Marchesa.

I think Rachel pulls it off so well.

Ha!  I just checked Project Rungay on my google reader and there it is!  I'm getting good at identifying the designer styles!

I am very impressed!  I don't know how you tell the designers apart.  Then again, I know nothing about high-end fashion designers.

I don't even try to keep up with it.  Just stuff I see on Project Rungay and an occassional red carpet show.  Marchesa's style is pretty distinct and I LOVE Valentino so that is why I was able to guess right on this one...
