Giving yourself a month "off" (BC pill related)
At my doc appt. today, the gyno mentioned taking a month off of the hormones before starting my new BC pill (going from Yaz to Seasonale).
Have you done this? Is there really a benefit?
Re: Giving yourself a month "off" (BC pill related)
oh geez NO.
I was let go from my job and when my insurance ended I couldn't afford to get my pill refilled so I stopped it. I called my doctor and she called me in a cheaper pill ($9) and I started it as soon as I started my period which was only a week later. I've been on the pill for 2 years non-stop and this was THE worst period ever! Very heavy, Horrible cramps, very, very tired! It lasted about 5 days. This is why I won't get my tubes tied..I will stay on the pill as long as I have to.
