The lines are too long =(
At 6 am there's usually about 100 people. Right now, there's at least 300. I have a meeting to get to. So I dropped off mh (who gets three hours for voting) and will try again around 2-2:30. Boo.
Re: The lines are too long =(
Good luck! There was about a 10 minute line at mine, but that was just to find out your election district (which my friends and I already knew, so we could have jumped the line had we known its purpose...).
I feel bad - I researched the elections that were on votesmart, but it didn't list the two judicial races, so I voted party line for judges. I feel dirty.
Don't feel dirty. ?If the judicial elections are anything like in WNY (multiple judges have the endorsement of multiple parties, including random parties I have never heard of), it wasn't a strictly party-line vote.
?
I actually only voted for the conservative party and the independence party!
But that was 4 republicans, 1 conservative, and 1 democrat. Ah, well. At least I didn't vote for the lady who's married to a mobster!
Our line was long, too TeamC. ?And you're in Arlington, right? ?Big Obama Country.
It took us just shy of an hour to get through. ?Not bad at all!?
?
That is key. ?I think that fact alone should absolve you of all guilt. ?
Yeah, except I feel a little bad because like, what if she's a really good person who just fell in love with a bad boy?
Then again, her bridal shop is supposedly a money laundering operation...
?
Wait, is she running for re-election or for the first time? ?That is crazy.?
First time. She's a republican. The incumbant is a democrat (and the daughter of a power-democrat). I voted for the guy on the conservative party ticket for that race.
