I know nothing about birds, but you guys were so helpful with jhobel's duck. I thought you might know this answer for me.
From the duck post I learned that ducks lay their eggs over a few days...do they hatch over a few days as well? or do they all hatch at once?
We have a robins nest in our back yard and some of the eggs have hatched, but there's still one sad lonely egg in there. Is there still hope for that one?

Re: Bird Question
Just watch out so the pigs don't steal it. Birds get angry when that happens
And yes- I'm a dork
*snorts* Well at least if you're good with flinging rubber bands like in Mary's QOTD you could get some revenge.
Yes they will hatch at different times. There may still be hope for that last egg. Not all of them make it, but depending on when this one was laid it still has time.

Thanks ladies. You are all super smart. Except Renee.
I just feel bad for the poor lone egg. Hopefully it'll hatch soon. It makes sense that the Mama bird would throw it out of the nest, I didn't think about that.
