locally owned gift stores?
Any great, unique gift stores in the Canton, Plymouth, etc areas? I still need to get something for my mom and MIL for Mother's Day

I didn't want to do the usual flowers that we always send them, but couldn't think of anything else. So I told them we were bringing them something when we go home at the end of the month. I'd like to do some kind of basket for them. I'm going to go to Isabella's Copper Pot and look around, any other suggestions-- preferably in that area?

Re: locally owned gift stores?
Basket Creations in downtown Plymouth is pretty cool (although I haven't been there in YEARS). My mom used to have baskets put together for my teachers when I was in grade school. I believe they have items you can purchase there or you can bring your own. It's been a while since I've been there though, it could have changed.

Also, Magnolia Florist in downtown Plymouth has some really nice things as well. Lots of stuff besides flowers.

Actually, now that I think of it...you're not originally from here, right? A basket of Michigan made things might be nice. Here's a website that lists a whole bunch of things - a lot of which you can buy in grocery stores.

This is what I was going to suggest! You could spend as much/little as you want.
Visit downtown Northville & downtown Plymouth, they both have some cute shops. Downtown Plymouth is bigger.

They even have a section of "Michigan Made" products. There use to be a Michigan Made store, but it closed over a year ago, but some of their products are still found at this store.
