Ordering at a restaraunt
When you go out to eat, who orders? Does one person order for everyone, or do you each say what you want?
Last night when we went out for my birthday my mother insisted on getting our orders so she could order for all of us when the waitress came back...I found it odd. I didn't know if that was me looking for something to criticize, or if it was kind of a funny thing to do.

Order for ourselves. I would be to afraid to let someone order for me because it would probably get messed up.

Cycle#29- Follistim + Ovidrel + IUI#3 = BFP 5/8/12 ~ betas dropped 5/17/12 ~ Cytotec(fail) D&C (fail) & then a methotrexate shot to get things going ~ 6/28/12 Beta FINALLY 0.
RPL tests reveal MTHFR mutation(1copy)-adding Folgard & BA and moving forward.
Cycle#32-Follistim + Ovidrel + IUI#4 = BFP!
Beta#1 8/21/12: 11, Beta#2 8/23: 71, Beta#3 8/25:174
9/4-seen sac/yolk, 9/7-9/12 hospitalized for a ruptured cyst causing massive internal bleeding.
9/11-seen HB!! 9/18- no HB, 9/21/12-D&C. Fetal tissue testing revealed a healthy boy. Now getting more tests to try to figure out this mystery
Ditto, and if we are in a drive thru, who ever is driving usually places the order. That would be odd to have someone yelling over the driver to place their order
I have to do this often.
DH, two sisters and a cousin refuse to order at times because they said my order is too complicated because of my supposed pickiness.
I need an example of your supposed pickiness.
I honestly think it isn't bad but for example I will get a Number 2 at McDonalds (quarter pounder with cheese) minus the onions and mustard.
Or maybe during lent I will get the Fish Sandwich from Wendy's plain but with cheese added. That one tends to get messed up the most.
I am a big girl. I can order for myself.
ETA: Any time I've gone out in a group, everyone orders for themselves.
Same reason I usually order. But if DH is picking something up, I just tell him to get plain whatever, that way I can add what I want.
We generally order for ourselves, but recently at our favorite Mexican restaurant, the waiter greeted us with two diet cokes and asked, "Two number tens, no beans?" So I guess, technically, he ordered for us.
