I saw in Lauranne's post that you are considering VBAC. I'm hoping for one with my next as well.

There is a VBAC board on the Bump and it's awesome. Lots of good information, not judgey, and much like our board, pretty drama free. I have learned so much from hanging out there and found some great resources.

  • Thanks, I've been meaning to lurk over there to see what they have.  I'm going to look into a few things when the time comes.  I'm pretty sure my CS was the result of being induced waaaaay too soon and I just blindly went along with it when there really wasn't a reason (other than it was 3 days before xmas and I think it was for their own personal reasons) for it.

  • I think I remember you saying that now. I was induced at 42 weeks exactly by their count. I think I had a couple more days based on my chart. I think I remember them saying he wasn't positioned correctly once the c/s was over but it is all such a haze. I am hoping to discuss it at my yearly next month. When she was stitching me up she was already talking about a VBAC, so I am hoping they are truly VBAC friendly because I really like them a lot.

  • That's great they seem VBAC friendly.  My OB mentioned something about it healing quickly and very well and mentioned VBAC.  I just know how concerned they are about something going wrong and a subsequent law suit, so we are going to look into a midwife that will deliver at AAMC, so we'll be at the hospital if need be, but we had friends that had an amazing experience with Bay Area Midwifery so hopefully we'll go with them next time.
