  My day isn't too bad considering!

  Our basement flooded last night due to the 3 inches of rain we received. Only 1 or 2 boxes are damaged, and one was just DVD cases (no DVDs in them). However, there is now mud/dirt/nastiness all over the entire basement floor and I can't do anything about it. I really just want to bleach it all down, but I know I'd get in trouble for that.

  Our only shower is down there too so I can't shower alone until things at least dry up enough that I can walk down there without falling. Good thing my only plan for today was to continue working on the house.

  My sister is coming over in a while to help arrange baby stuff. I'm so ready for everything to be in place! Oh wait, here she is...

  I concur.  DH and I got in to a fight already because I hate this shoebox of a house that we live in and his clutter all around it.  He insisted on bringing up K's big boy bed that we bought in to his room already (he has now a crib, bed, full size dresser, bookcase and extra large lazy boy in a room about the size of a cubicle) and Kellen tripped over all the stuff and cut his lip with his two teeth (blood all over) while I was getting him ready this morning.  And, since DH is convinced that we don't have enough money to move for another 2-3 years at the minimum- I blew up at him.  Mostly, because he keeps buying crap we don't need and it takes away from our savings for moving!!  ARGH.  Luckily, I have a pretty good DH who went home over lunch, moved a bunch of crap downstairs and got me a suitcase to pack tonight, as tomorrow I go see my BFF in Alabama!!!  But, I could still use a huge amount of chocolate right now.

  Glad he moved stuff and you get a mini vacay! Poor K! He is SO boy
