Slightly odd Obama supporter video
I get the sentiment and *think* she is speaking symbolically, but it worries me that people might actually believe this will be true. I heard it and now seeing it, I just hope people do not actually believe they will get this much help.

Re: Slightly odd Obama supporter video
The title of the video doesn't match what she's saying. She says she doesn't have to worry about the economy - her mortgage, the price of gas - because Obama is going to do something about it, he is prepared to handle the crisis.
A little too optimistic? Yes. There won't be easy answers.
It says she never thought she would live to see this (I guess she did not live during Clinton?) I do not think she actually thinks that she will not have to pay these, but if you take it straight by what she is saying, it is a bit odd. We make educated observations to "know" what she is saying (I am not trying to support Oh in anyway).
I am coupling this with a few colleagues who think taxes will be lower and they will get more assistance to pay mortgage (i.e. more deductions, rewriting of mortgage w/ new value, etc). So, that is why I brought it up.
I think there are two separate things - or probably many - but is extremely moved and not completely articulate. I imagine the "never live to see it" was that someone of her skin color would be president. Then she moved on to how she feels hope about what Obama will actually accomplish.
I do like seeing how moved people are by this. I, for one, am very happy to have someone I really want to vote for, as opposed to voting against the other guy. It's exciting and inspiring.
