WW Ladies...

I signed up last night.

I decided that since I cannot exercise (beyond walks, though I did run the other day and that was just one big fat disaster for days after)  I needed to find something to ...

1) Control

2) Make me accountable

3) Help me loose this extra weight I put on from having surgery and becoming a bump on a log.

4) Get me excited about cooking again.

I am currently half a day into it and am really enjoying it, I have actually not changed much yet (beyond not eating the coffee cake at hobees that came with my meal this morning) but I feel really motivated and like I have something I can control.

My daily points are 29 and my weekly spurge points are 49 (is this the same for everyone?).

Any recipies you guys LOVE that I can dive into?

So...can I join your discussions and become part of your posse?

Re: WW Ladies...

  • GL!

And wanted to just FYI for all you WWers that the "BOMB check in" on the baby board is related to WW/healthy lifestyle living and they're all planning to check in several times a week about success, recipes, tips, etc.  Seems there's a lot more participation over there than there has been here related to this.

  • I'm happy to help where I can. Of course you're welcome to join the "posse". :D

Do you want my email of tips/tricks? :)

  • I don't have any new blogs/recipes to add, just wanted to say good luck!

I joined WW in Jan. and just reached my goal weight last weekend (like you I started at 29 points so I didn't have a lot to lose).  It really helped me get my eating in check and under control and helped me eat much better.  The points totally became a game to me, which really motivated me to do well.  Don't be discouraged if there are weeks you don't lose because if you follow the plan you will see results eventually.  Enjoy making new recipes! =)

  • Congrats for taking that step! I really like the program and on it right now (I don't go to the meetings but do it online). I have the same points that you have (29 and 49). And to be honest, the only exercise I have is walking and running after C and I'm losing weight.
