Best and Worst Parts of the Week?

It's Friday!  Take a moment, sit in a quiet area, take a few deep breaths, reflect carefully on the last few days, decide what was the best and worst parts of your week then compose a thoughtful post for us to read.

Or if you live in the real world, take a few minutes away from whatever you are supposed to be doing at work and home and tell us about what was good and bad this week!

Re: Best and Worst Parts of the Week?

  • Best: DH's homestand ended last night so we get to eat dinner together for the first time in 9 days tonight, we have a little date night planned :)

Worst: It is already 78 degrees in my classroom, actually I took that temperature an hour ago, so since there were 20 kids in here last hour it is probably worse.  Yesterday when I left work it was 87 degrees in here, not at all conducive to learning or teaching.

Best/Worst: Our "new" dog (had her since February) didn't make a mess in the house for 6 days straight....she broke that streak yesterday and again last night.

  • Christie, re: dog, isn't that frustrating?!  It seems like things are going so well and all of a sudden they go back to their old habit?

Best: My birthday on Monday.  Not really the gifts or anything, but just that I can't imagine being in a better life situation at age 25.  I am married to the love of my life, have a great dog, and a job that puts money in the bank.  My friend (who's dog passed) said to me on my birthday, I hope that 25 is even better for you than 24...and in so many ways, I wonder it how it could get any better than marrying Ben while 24. :O)

Worst:  Not much, probably the heat and not being prepared for it.

(Sidenote: Poor Oscar!  We didn't turn our AC on and when I got home yesterday he was so lethargic (bullies are awful with heat) that he wouldn't even get up to get his fav treat, an ice cube.  So I sat on the floor with him and held it while he licked it.  It was the sweetest thing ever :O)

  • Best: We are finally getting somewhere with our new computer program at work and things are finally moving more smoothly. Other than that, nothing too exciting has happened this week, it's been pretty boring and long.

Worst: Nothing really on this one either. I haven't been feeling very well the last few days. Grumbly stomach and cramps, like, wake-you-from-a-dead-sleep cramps. Ick. I just want to not be sick!!

  • Best - Just happy that things are running smoothly and starting to look up.  The nice weather is changing everyone's attitude for the better and I love that after such a long, cold winter.

    Worst - Nothing, really.

Best: We got lots of yard work done and the weather's been great.

Worst: Chris is away for the weekend and we're supposed to get thunderstorms tomorrow (I'm terrified of thunderstorms!). I really wanted to get a bunch of planting done this weekend, but it's supposed to rain now for the next week!

Worst: Coming home on Tuesday to our apartment totally messed up because they were building new balconies and didn't give us any notice.  The picture is on my FB, it was ridiculous!  Luckily, they finally finished last night.

Best:  Losing 2lbs this week without even really trying.  Also, I think I *might* be winning the war on stinkbugs in my car.  It's gone from me killing 6-10 a day to about 2-4 a day, and I'm way too excited about this.
