Re: centerpieces...need ideas

  • I guess I should add it is for Allie's 1st bday and there will be 6 tables(picnic tables)
  • What about something like the picture in the lower right corner, pots of tall grass?  You can add some color by tying some balloons to it too.

  • I'd proably do flowers or somehow work your party favors (if you're doing them) into the centerpieces. You could do little tin pails (like garden pails) filled with wild flowers or tall grass (safari looking!).

Edit: I totally didn't see any of the other posts! Haha! Great minds think alike :)

  • Love the grass ideas.....now do I go fake or real? Also where can I get them for cheap? ANy ideas?

instead of flowers I am going to have the animals coming out.

  • I recently saw some of the grass pieces at Kohls.
  • I've seen pre-potted grass (already in the tin buckets) at Target in the past, not sure if they have any now.  Or even Ikea sometimes has them

  • I'd make it fun and grow grass with your kids at school! It might be easier to get clay flower pots if you can't find the pails. They were in the $ spot at target last month (the pails in all colors), but I don't think I saw them at the one in Lincoln when I was there last.
