Office Birthday Pranks
I was 'asked' to decorate a desk, this guy is fun, but it worries me becasue he's my boss's boss's, boss. Does that make sense? My director's boss.
I've already decided to get some birthday wrapping paper from Dolla Tree and to 'wrap everything' Just was wondering if there were any other ideas?
*Also He's NOT turning 50, but we're pretending he is!

When my co-worker turned 40, we just did a lot of party decorations - balloons, streamers, and a happy birthday banner, etc.
Depending on the mood of your workplace, I'd try to avoid anything that would be TOO distracting (like confetti, it's impossible to clean up) or difficult to work around. Personally, I'd be a little annoyed if someone wrapped my desk because it would make it hard to get things done - but I can think of others who would love it!
Also consider who will help him clean it all up after the birthday is over - I've had to clean up my own birthday office before, that sucked.
Sorry if I sounded down about it - you sounded a little concerned about the level of this person, so I'd try to keep it somewhat professional.

I would say no to the confittie too we did that ones and she brought it back to our office and sprinkled it everywhere to get back at us!
