Keeping on the baby theme...

Any recommendation for pregnancy books, like a what to expect when you are expecting type of book?

Re: Keeping on the baby theme...

  • I think WTE is probably the best, but I'm not sure that is saying much.  I hated Week to Week.

  • I used What to Expect --- I read it a lot in the beginning, then used it more as a reference towards the end.

    Congratulations, by the way! :)

Ditto.  I also got the weekly e-mails from babycenter.com which I felt were short, sweet and to the point.  If I had questions I would check WTE or I googled.  I also lurked the trimester boards.  9 times out of 10 someone had a similar question.  While I didn't trust the answer of the bumpies, it was reassuring to know I wasn't the only one who was feeling a certain way, then I would take my concerns to the doc.  I just wasn't big on reading the books.  Congrats!

I am opposite to this, I really like Week to Week and didn't care for WTE.  I will use WTE for the BFing piece, I've heard that is good.
