Summer Camps in the Frisco area
Good morning, ladies.
We're hosting a 15 year old girl from China for the summer & needed to find a summer camp/program for her during the day. She'll be with us the entire month of July and half of August.
The programs that we've found so far were for younger kids. Any suggestions you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
Re: Summer Camps in the Frisco area
Here's a technology camp at SMU for kids up to 17. It's pretty costly though.

That's the best I could come up with via Google. The only thing I can think of would be to call some of the camps that take 13-14 year olds and see if they will make an exception as it is a little bit of a special situation?
Main Event has Summer Bowling Camps.

Y.M.C.A. Camp Grady Spruce! I met my husband there, so it is very dear to my heart.
I'm not going to lie it is costly but there are all sorts of scholarships that EVERYONE can qualify for. They do emphasis Christian values; so they pray before each meal and vesper services on Sunday for kids that stay 2 weeks. Which leads me into the length of stays. She can stay for as little as 1 week (less if she goes the week around 4th of July) to as long as she's in the States.
If you have any questions or want more info let me know! There is TONS to do there! I can't say enough good things about this place!
rcpm- thank you for the suggestion. I'm going to pull up the info when I get home. I really do like the fact that she can stay for an extended period of time-that will be extremely helpful to us.
Thanks again for all the suggestions!
These aren't necessarily in Frisco but I found this link:
